Swim Team Registration Open

Hello Boulder Elks Swim Families!

The 2019 season is just around the corner! Registration for summer 2019 is now open on the team website, www.boulderelksswimteam.org.

Here’s the news:

1. COACHING STAFF: Emily Sampl will be returning as the head coach this summer, and we also welcome back returning coaches Austin Vinton, Katie Roberts, Olivia Rock, Henry Maier, Mason Pendergast, and Nathan Rock. Our full coaching staff will be finalized over the next few months.

2. REGISTRATION: Registration for the 2019 summer season is now live! Go to boulderelksswimteam.org and click on the “Register” tab in the main menu. Please direct registration questions to Beth Leuchten.

3. PRACTICE SCHEDULE & CALENDAR: The practice schedule and meet dates are all up to date on the website. If you’d like to jumpstart the season, come to some of our ongoing winter practices! Practices are held Tuesdays through Fridays from 5:30-6:30pm at North Boulder Rec and Saturdays 9-10am at East Boulder Rec. Additional details are on the team website under the “Practices & Clinics/Pre-Season Swimming” tab.

4. BOULDER ELKS BEACH CLUB & SUMMER JOBS: Geoff Hawksworth will again serve as the manager for the Elks pool and the 2019 Boulder Elks Beach Club. Information for pricing (memberships, pool passes, etc.)  can be found on the Boulder Elks website. For questions about the Beach Club, or to inquire about working at the pool this summer as a swim instructor, lifeguard, or in the snack shack, please contact Geoff.

5. SWIM LESSONS: We will offer swim lessons at the Boulder Elks pool this summer, and Emily Sampl will be heading up the lesson program again. Information about swim lessons are available on the team website under “Lessons/Beach Club.”

6.  GOOD TIMES! BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: Boulder Elks Pre-season cookout, Little Fish/Big Fish Program, Team trip to Water World, Purple Poolozza Spirit Days, Parent Relays and more!

We can’t wait to see everyone for another amazing swim season! Any questions about the upcoming season can be directed to Coach Emily. Let’s get this party started!!

EFAA Benefit at Friday BBQ – July 13

Join us for our regular Friday Swim & BBQ, and bring along a food donation to benefit EFAA. Currently, EFAA’s biggest food needs are:

  • Spaghetti
  • Canned Chili
  • Baby Food
  • Cereal
  • Canned Fruit

Remember, entrance to the pool is free to the public after 5p on Fridays, and the BBQ starts at 5:30p. Live music on July 13 from The Hoppers!

Pool is Open

Summer is off to a great start, and our pool is open! Beat the heat by coming out to the Elks Pool.  Summer pool pass fees are:

Family Pass** / Member*: $270
Family Pass** / Non-Member: $320
Individual Pass / Member*: $125
Individual Pass / Non-Member: $150

*You must be a member of the national organization of the Elks Lodge, or your child must be a member of the Boulder Elks Swim Team.

**Family Pass includes up to five (5) people living in the same household. Additional family members can be added for $50 per person.

Join us at the pool on Friday nights throughout the summer for our Friday Night Poolside BBQ. Entrance to the pool is free to the public after 5pm on Fridays. We have hot food, snacks, and drinks available for purchase. Discounts available to lodge members.

The Boulder Elks pool is also home to the Boulder Elks Swim Team – check out our pre-team meet from this week (below).

Boulder Elks Pool 2016 Beach Club Fees are here – purchase by March 31 and save $20
 
FAMILY POOL PASS FEES (Up to 5 people living in the same household)
Family Pass / Member : $270 (Elks Club member* or if your kids are on the Elks swim team)
Family Pass / Non Elks Club Member: $320
Additional Family Pass members: $50 per person

INDIVIDUAL POOL PASS FEES
Individual / Member: $125 (Elks Club member* or if your kids are on the Elks swim team)
Individual / Non Elks Club Member: $150
