Troop History

Troop 77 was first chartered in Nederland, Colorado in 1939.  It was not active during the World War II years, but has been continuously chartered with the Boulder Elks since 1949.

Troop 77 is proud of its heritage and the huge impact the Troop has had on the lives of hundreds of Scouts in our community. Through activities such as camping, hiking, and skiing, Scouts have fun, make friends, and learn critical leadership skills that will help them throughout their lives. To date, 123 Scouts in the Troop have earned the rank of Eagle and learned the importance of giving back to their community-a significant point of pride within the Troop.
