Boulder Elks Lodge Featured in Westword Article Today

We had a very nice article in today’s Westword about all the good things that the Boulder Elks does for our community. There’s also a good blurb about the Hazel Miller show tomorrow and a link to buy tickets.

“Founded in 1900, the 123-year-old lodge has been serving the Boulder community for longer than most remember. Part of the Elks National Foundation, the lodge is much more than an event center and has several community programs that constantly give back to the city. Jan Stull, a fifteen-year Elks member and chairwoman of the board, was drawn to the organization because of its Medical Equipment Loan Program, which provides temporary use of needed medical equipment to members of the community, free of charge.

Dancefloor revival!

We are fortunate to have articles printed in the Daily Camera, BizWest and Boulder Weekly last week.
Here’s a snippet from the Weekly:

“Enter the Boulder Elks Lodge (3975 28th St.) A community cornerstone since the turn of the 20th century, the one-time hotspot for local live music and events had seen better days since getting walloped by a series of misfortunes in recent years: asbestos removal, roof repair and last summer’s flooding, to name just a few. But now this local mainstay is poised for a comeback after deep renovations to its 10,000 square-foot ballroom and dining area, reopening its doors to the general public for the first time in more than a decade.” Read more–>

Boulder Elks Lodge & Event Center “Grand Re-Opening” on March 11th

Featuring

Hazel Miller & the Collective

The Boulder Elks Lodge & Events Center “Grand Re-Opening” is happening on Saturday, March 11th @ 7PM with featured artist Hazel Miller & the Collective! Hazel has played at the Boulder Elks back in the heyday of the 80s and 90s and is honored to be our first performance at our newly renovated Events Center.

Hazel Miller is not just a great singer; she is a force of nature! One of the tightest and most versatile bands on the local/national scene playing Originals, Jazz, Blues, R&B, and popular music; each song with the band’s own flavor!

She’s bringing her “soulful music magic” back to Boulder to help us celebrate the launch of our Boulder Elks Lodge & Events Center, featuring a brand new, 3,000 square foot dance floor that is spring loaded to ease impact on your body…

This will be the biggest dance floor that Hazel has ever played before. Let’s Dance!

Doors open at 6 PM. Free Parking (on premise) – Food and Beverage available.
